One recent cityHUNT at MoMA started with a challenge before the hunt had even begun: the employees did not know they were coming. Their company had planned the afternoon as a surprise.
Once the group arrived, one of our Adventure Hosts had to turn a group of surprised coworkers into teams, explain the game, and get everyone moving. MoMA’s spacious public areas made that process easy. There was enough room to gather everyone, organize the teams, and build some energy before sending them into the museum.
It is a great corporate bonding activity that is more original and memorable than going for food and drinks.

At the end of one recent MoMA hunt, cityHUNT brought everyone back together for the awards. There was just one catch: the Adventure Host announced the losing team first without telling them where they had placed.
For a moment, they thought they had won.
The reveal got a huge laugh from the group and gave the awards ceremony its own memorable moment. Teams received medals, and some participants were still wearing theirs when they headed to a restaurant after the event.
The riddles may end at the museum, but the competition, jokes, photos, and stories have a way of following the group afterward.
