Broadway & Musical Inspired Scavenger Hunts in NYC
How a cityHUNT Scavenger Hunt Works
We start by getting to know your group, your interests, and what you want from the event. Then we build a route and challenges to suit. For a Broadway theme, that might mean clues based on theater signs, stories behind local landmarks, and creative tasks tied to your team.
On the day, your Adventure Host brings everyone together, organizes small teams, usually of four to six, and explains how to play. Each team gets the cityHUNT app ready so it can follow clues and tackle challenges along the route. Then it’s time to explore. Teams solve puzzles, spot details, and create photos or short scenes inspired by what they find. At the end, everyone comes back together to compare scores, celebrate the winners, and share their favorite moments.
Scavenger Hunt for Broadway Musical Lovers
Turn NYC Into Your Own Stage
A Broadway musical themed scavenger hunt gives your group a chance to explore the city while solving fun clues and completing challenges about your favourite musicals. You will also have to complete photo and video tasks along the way provides the perfect excuse to document your trip.
The Theater District offers plenty of inspiration, from theater marquees to public art and the details people pass on their way to a show. cityHUNT can build challenges around those surroundings and the interests your group shares.
Corporate Team Building With a Twist
Make The Next Company Outing Unforgettable
Skip the same-old team outing and turn New York’s Theater District into a game of clues, characters, and creative challenges.
At cityHUNT, we can build a custom scavenger hunt based around your company. For a Broadway theme, that could mean creating an imaginary musical about your company, recreating a scene from the boss’s favorite musical, or coming up with a new name for the company that is inspired by Broadway. We shape the tasks and level of competition around the people taking part.
The Theater Background Behind cityHUNT
Planning Your Scavenger Hunt With Passion
cityHUNT founder Ben Hoffman draws on his theater background when designing hunts. He looks to live shows for ideas about getting people involved and bringing stories to life.
Ben keeps looking to theater and other forms of art for ways to improve our hunts. New York offers plenty of inspiration. We use it to create games where your group can explore, get creative, and help bring the experience to life.
