The National Katyń Memorial – Honoring History

For the next stop, scavenger hunters had to find the tallest statue in Baltimore, which is the National Katyń Memorial. This memorial is 56 feet tall and located near the Inner Harbor. This monument is dedicated to the Polish victims of World War II and serves as a reminder of the atrocities committed during the Katyń massacre. Teams were asked to take a more serious moment during their hunt to pay respects and honor the deep historical impact and the lives that were lost during this period of time.
