This aquarium began in the mid-1970s and is located on the waterfront of the Inner Harbor. The aquarium has 5 levels, features over 750 different species, and holds more than 2,200,000 gallons of water! The National Aquarium conducts multiple conservation efforts through organizing environmental clean-up events and has even started an animal rescue program. For this fun photo-op, teams were challenged to take a picture to make it look like they’re under the sea at one of the exhibits—without getting wet of course.
