For this historical stop, participants ventured to Bayfront Park to find the impressive 10-foot-tall bronze statue of Julia Tuttle, known as the ‘Mother of Miami.’ Teams were challenged to capture a photo of a teammate looking out at the bay alongside the statue, symbolizing the shared vision of a thriving city that Tuttle foresaw in the late 19th century when the area was mostly swampland. This task was about honoring the legacy of a pioneering woman whose foresight and determination helped shape the Miami we know today.
