“Fishin” – Mississippi River

It wouldn’t be a Minneapolis scavenger hunt without a trip down to the Mississippi River. This river is more than 2,350 miles long. It starts in the central US and ends in the Gulf of Mexico! This river has a large history when it comes to American history and trade. Another thing the river is known for is fishing. The most common fish in the river is smallmouth bass. Fishermen in the area can catch 30 or more of these fish in just one trip! The challenge at this stop was to take a photo pretending to fish as participants ventured along this iconic river.
