For this stop, teams were challenged to find and take a photo with Jean Dubuffet’s Monument Au Fantome sculpture in Discovery Green. This French name translates to “imaginary city” in English. This large free-form red-white-blue sculpture on Avenida de las Americas is the park’s most well-known artwork and one of Houston’s great treasures. The sculpture represents 7 features that all represent elements of Houston. These features are a chimney, a church, a dog, a hedge, a mast, a phantom, and a tree.
