Corktown
A must-see in Detroit, Corktown is full of fun waiting to be experienced by you and your teammates. Grab a snack at the Detroit Institute of Bagels- we know you can’t think when you’re hungry! Then, take a stroll around Savage Park, and do some people-watching. How are you supposed to understand a city without observing the people?
Art Center
If you’re interested in art, don’t even think about missing the Art Center of Detroit. Your first stop needs to be, drumroll please, the Detroit Institute of the Arts. Afterwards, hit the Common Pub, or Chartreuse the restaurant, or both. You’re in charge here!
Millenium Village
A great location for shopping and walking around, don’t skip Millenium Village! Takoi Bar will take care of your nightlife needs, and it will also satisfy your appetite with papaya salad and coconut ice cream. There is a great atmosphere, and wonderful service. Be sure to walk around the area once you’re done at Takoi, you won’t be disappointed!
Rivertown
Rivertown is a great area of Detroit that is sure to please you and your teammates! Check out the Atwater Brewery for some drinks and shared appetizers (yum). Then, go to Saint Aubin Park to get up close and personal with the water. You can experience the Detroit Riverwalk at sunset and fall in love with this wonderful city!
