Rocking Out at The Summit Music Hall in Denver! This intimate venue is a hub for metal and punk rock music, known for its electrifying atmosphere and passionate fanbase. The challenge for teams was to channel their inner rock stars and take a picture outside the Summit Music Hall, showcasing their best ‘rocking out’ poses.
Toasting to Tradition – Wynkoop Brewing Company
Did you know that Denver ranks 3rd nationally in craft beer breweries per capita? Contestants made a stop at Colorado’s first brewpub, founded in 1988. The challenge was to capture a picture of the team either enjoying an adult beverage inside the brewery or simply loitering outside. This stop was all about getting a taste of the flavors that have put Colorado on the map in the craft beer scene.
Stop, Drop & Roll – Denver Firefighters Museum
Safety first at the Denver Firefighters Museum! At this museum dedicated to the brave men and women who fight fires, teams faced a challenge that was both educational and fun. The task was to take a video of the team practicing the fundamental fire safety rule: STOP, DROP, AND ROLL!
Dairy Block Alley – More Than Milk
Posing with Art in Dairy Block Alley! The alley is known for its unique and immersive experience, featuring an array of boutique shops, artisanal eateries, and trendy bars. The challenge for teams was to explore this vibrant space and take a photo with their favorite work of art.
National Ballpark Museum – Out of the Park
Previously known as B’s Ballpark Museum, the National Ballpark Museum’s collection was recognized by Smithsonian Books as one of the top 21 finest private baseball collections in the World. For this stop, contestants had to find the museum and take a photo of a teammate hitting an “air” home run ball.
Denver Millenium Bridge – Strike a Pose
For this challenge, teams were tasked with capturing a photo of their entire group striking their best superhero poses on the iconic Denver Millennium Bridge. This stop was all about embracing the spirit of adventure and showcasing the team’s strength and unity, all while standing atop one of Denver’s most recognizable landmarks.
Museum of Contemporary Art – Plotting a Heist
The challenge at this stop was to take a picture of the team planning a heist of the coolest thing in the museum. Participants had to explore the exhibits, identify the most captivating artwork, and then creatively pose as if they were devising a cunning plan to ‘steal’ it. This task was all about engaging with contemporary art and adding a touch of mischief.
Denver Union Station – Just in Time!
In the heart of Denver, teams faced the challenge of taking a picture just as they were catching a train at Union Station. This iconic landmark is known for its grand architecture and bustling atmosphere. Participants had to time their shots perfectly to capture the sense of urgency and relief of making it onto the train just in the nick of time.
