What do you get when you mix together the suspense of an escape room, a hidden treasure, and the flexibility and competition of a scavenger hunt? You get the next-level CityHunt “Unlock the Box” game!

Bond with your team, have fun, and solve puzzling clues in new and exciting ways during this captivating and puzzling experience.

How It Works

CityHunt will customize a 1 – 1.5 hour team building experience followed by an awards ceremony.

Your game customized game will be full of puzzles, brain teasers, and riddles that will test the knowledge and require collaboration.

Your group will be broken up into teams and be sent on a multi-faceted experience throughout an area in your city.

The Game

Each team will compete to “unlock the box” and find the hidden treasure. They will need to solve a series of clues that will unlock digital padlocks with the next clue. At the end of the game, the box’s secret combination is revealed. As teams solve the clues and take photos and videos they will gain points. The team with the most points at the agreed on amount of time will be given the first opportunity to unlock the box.

The Clues and Challenges

Our cryptic clues can take many shapes and sizes.

A clue can be in a photo or video puzzle, trivia, geo mapping, on an encrypted website, a locked code, a voicemail message, a famous landmark, and more!

Participants can also earn extra points for creativity.

Since all hunts are customizable, the Unlock the Box game comes to you wherever you are! This game can take place in a smaller space than a Scavenger Hunt. Typically, the Unlock the Box game occurs in a neighborhood, a hotel, your office building, and more!
