How to Make Your Valentine’s Day Memorable

//How to Make Your Valentine’s Day Memorable

It’s almost that time of year. A time full of chocolates, candy, flowers, and love. Lots and lots of love. Romance is going to be running rampant through all of the lovers in the world over the course of the next month. Planning that big romantic date can be a daunting task. You want to organize the perfect date to really impress your special someone.

Sure, a dinner and a movie date sounds great, but why would you want to be so predictable? That’s what everyone does. Restaurants and movie theaters, particularly restaurants NEAR movie theaters, will be completely swamped. What if the restaurant is running a little bit behind and you miss your movie?! *GASP!* Then your evening would be ruined! How about doing something different, something outside the box?

That’s where cityHUNT comes in to play! We specialize in fun outings for groups of all sizes. Maybe you want an intimate game with you and your loved one, or maybe you want to make it a “couples” night to share your love with family and friends. Maybe you are the CEO of a company and want to send your employees out on a special team building adventure to show them how much you care about them. Whatever the reason, we can bring your Valentine’s Day date ideas to life! Whether you decide to have your adventure on February 14th or choose to celebrate on a different day, we can show you a unique experience that will be remembered for years!

How about you book our awesome Unlock the Box game to give a nice gift to your Valentine? Your date will solve a series of clues and challenges that will ultimately give them the code to unlock the box. That box could contain chocolate, flowers, or maybe even……. a shiny diamond ring, perhaps?!?! If you’re looking to make the “Month of Love” the time when you want to propose, then why not send your fiancé to be on a customized scavenger hunt adventure throughout the city where you first fell in love. Bring them back to all of the meaningful places you have been together and pop the question at the end of your adventure! Maybe you want both of your families and friends involved in your proposal like one of our clients, Ry did a few months ago. Jasmine shared her proposal story with us on instagram.

“Yesterday was absolutely one of the most amazing days I have honestly had. My boyfriend sent me on a personalized #scavengerhunt in the morning courtesy of @realcityhunt around Times Square which I got to enjoy with (tagged 5 instagram friends). Thinking nothing of it the last challenge was to head down to bowling green to take a group photo at #statueofliberty. Once I got there I was given an audio tour which he customized and I listened to as we headed towards the front of the statue, which led me to him, my family, and my friends where he got down on one knee and proposed to me. I couldn’t be any happier and I’m glad to know I have a #fiance. I love you Ry! You know how to make my heart smile.”

We love cityHUNT proposal stories and want to hear all about yours too! Even if you are not proposing, we still want to hear about your Valentine’s Day plans! Do you need help getting some ideas together? I’ve put together a list of 5 things you should do if you want to have a successful Valentine’s Day:

1. Dinner Date.
It can be a home-cooked meal, a dinner date at a fancy restaurant, or a quick McDonald’s meal. Either way, make sure you eat before your adventurous date!

2. cityHUNT Adventure.
Because you want a successful and memorable Valentine’s Day, right?! So, this is a given!

3. Three words: Chocolate. Covered. Strawberries.
YUM! Talk about a Valentine’s Day must have! Who could go wrong with the decadent chocolate covered strawberry!? The answer is NO ONE! Unless someone is allergic to chocolate or strawberries… in that case definitely don’t do that. Just cry for them.

4. Box of Chocolates.
Who doesn’t love a box of chocolates that have hidden flavors in every bite. If you’re anything like me, you only eat certain ones, so maybe stick with one kind? Caramel anyone?!

5. A puppy…er, I mean, flowers.
A puppy might be a little over the top, but flowers are always a good back up plan. Just get some pretty flowers that smell nice and voila!!

As you can see, it’s not too difficult to have a very successful (and filling) Valentine’s Day, but don’t wait until last minute to plan a mediocre Valentine’s date night for your one true love.
