The City of Brotherly Love has heart…and wants to keep it beating!

iphone showing the my heart map challenge app MyHeartMap Challenege is a crowd-sourcing contest and research project to locate AEDs (defibrillators) all across Philadelphia. Ideally, the locations of Philly’s AEDs will be collected and used to increase the visibility and awareness of resuscitation access in our city. Ultimately, this will improve cardiac arrest outcomes for Philadelphia residents.

You can participate in the MyHeartMap Challenge until March 13th.

1. Be the first to locate a GOLDEN AED and win some cash-money

Anyone with a heart can participate (sorry Tin-Man).

AEDs are located in all kinds of places, including office buildings, schools, recreation centers, gyms, retail stores…you name it! You walk by AEDs on your way to work, and even a night out on the town.

So keep your eyes peeled, and play! You can pool your AED finds and play as a team…grab your friends and cityHUNT for AED treasures one night this week. You’ll always be an Ultimate AED Adventure Champion in our books.
